SSFCI was established at Rawalpindi in the year 1923 by Dr. S.S. Aggarwal. He was a Master in chemical Technology from IIT -Bombay and specialized from a reputed institute at USSR. With partition, SSFCI moved its production unit at New Delhi. Dr. S.S. Agarwal designed his first CO₂ plant in Ranchi in the year 1980 by using wood and charcoal. We now have an extremely talented team of professionals who are dedicatedly working to design and implement world class gas plants. Since its inception, it has played a life-sustaining function in its arena of operation. In the first quarter of 20th century, SSFCI had started a subsidiary unit by the name of Gaslab Asia. Gaslab is indulge into tapering focus on CO₂ business. It is driven by latest technology and the determined motto to excel in all activities.
